A splitboard separates for the climb and reconnects for the ride down. Finding the right model means considering your weight, boot size, preferred terrain and riding style. Check each product's sizing guidance, shape and construction details, then confirm the requirements for compatible splitboard bindings, skins and touring hardware. Plan backcountry trips with appropriate avalanche education, equipment and local conditions in mind.
