Who is responsible for your information

skin99 is operated by Sundown Ski Patrol Inc. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of skin99. This policy explains how personal information is handled when you browse our store, place an order, contact us, or use related services.

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify provides the commerce platform and processes personal information to operate and support that platform. Our contact details appear at the end of this policy.

Information collected and its sources

Information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, order details, return requests, and messages sent to customer support. If you create an account or submit a review, we process the information you choose to provide through that feature.

Transaction information: items purchased, amounts, payment status, refunds, and payment-related identifiers made available by the payment provider. Payment credentials are processed through the payment services used at checkout. Do not send full payment card numbers, passwords, or identity documents to our support email.

Information from your device and interactions: IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages viewed, referral information, cart activity, and interactions with the store. Cookies and similar technologies can provide this information, subject to the features used, your choices, and applicable law.

Information from service providers: payment confirmations, fraud-screening signals, delivery updates, and information needed to fulfill or resolve an order. We also receive information from Shopify when it supports the services you use.

Why we use information

We use contact information for marketing only as permitted by law and any required consent. Purchasing from us does not, by itself, authorize unrelated promotional text messages. Transactional messages about a purchase or service request may still be sent after you unsubscribe from promotional messages.

Who receives information

We disclose the information needed for the relevant task to Shopify, payment processors, delivery and fulfillment providers, customer-support service providers, and professional advisers. When analytics or advertising features are used, the providers supporting those features may receive device, browsing, purchase, or interaction information, subject to applicable privacy choices.

We may disclose information to comply with a valid legal obligation, protect customers and the store, investigate unlawful activity, or support a lawful business reorganization, subject to applicable safeguards. We do not authorize service providers to use information beyond their permitted role.

Shopify and services across stores

Shopify may process information both on our behalf and for its own purposes described in its privacy notices. If Shopify Network Intelligence or related enhanced services are enabled, Shopify may use information about interactions with our store together with information from other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services, including personalization, advertising, and fraud prevention, as described in Shopify’s notices and subject to applicable choices.

Cookies, advertising, and your choices

Shopify and other service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Applicable legal safeguards govern any transfer for which such safeguards are required.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Some information may need to be retained to complete transactions, comply with law, or protect legal claims.

Children and third-party services

The store is intended for purchases by adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of customers under 16.
